How often do you breeze through a book, nodding and mentally cheering in agreement... only to put it down and move on without taking time to truly digest or integrate what you've just read?
This is so often how I read.
But this year, as I was reading Brené Brown's The Gifts of Imperfection, I got the idea to spend each month of 2018 living into a different one of her 10 Guideposts for Wholehearted Living.
And then I thought, "I bet there are others out there who would like to do this too."
So here it is: A year-long book club. One book. Weekly reflection prompts from me. Gentle support & accountability as we practice wholehearted living together.
Each week, I'll send an email with prompts for reflection and encouragement as we engage these guideposts in our daily lives.
The year will look something like this:JANUARY - Intro & Intention-settingFEBRUARY - Cultivating Authenticity: Letting go of what people thinkMARCH - Cultivating Self-Compassion: Letting go of perfectionismAPRIL - Cultivating a Resilient Spirit: Letting go of numbing and powerlessnessMAY - Cultivating Gratitude and Joy: Letting go of scarcity and fear of the darkJUNE - Cultivating Intuition and Trusting Faith: Letting go of the need for certaintyJULY - Cultivating Creativity: Letting go of comparisonAUGUST - Cultivating Play and Rest: Letting go of exhaustion as a status symbol and productivity as self-worthSEPTEMBER - Cultivating Calm and Still: Letting go of anxiety as a lifestyleOCTOBER - Cultivating Meaningful Work: Letting go of self-doubt and “supposed to”NOVEMBER - Cultivating Laughter, Song, and Dance: Letting go of being cool and “always in control”DECEMBER - Wrap-up and Reflection
